On pandemic management

The management of pandemics in India today should be crafted with tact of a public health field expert, built on numbers shared by biostatisticians and war rooms controlled by community health physicians and professional public health experts, beyond national and state capitals. Sitting merely at the capital, being disconnected by voices from the field and giving media statements is not how you handle infectious diseases and disaster risk reduction.
